This Privacy Policy explains how Vegan Belgrade (“Vegan Belgrade”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Vegan Belgrade mobile application and this website.

1. Information we may collect

Account information

If you create or access an account, authentication is handled through Supabase Auth. Depending on the sign-in method you choose, we may receive and store basic account information such as:

• email address;
• display name, when provided by the authentication provider;
• profile image, when provided by the authentication provider;
• a unique account identifier associated with your login.

Google sign-in

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google OAuth is used as an authentication provider through Supabase Auth. Depending on the permissions presented to you during sign-in, Vegan Belgrade may receive basic Google account information such as your email address, name, profile image and a unique account identifier. We use this information only to authenticate your account, create or maintain your Vegan Belgrade profile, and provide account-related functionality.

Vegan Belgrade does not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, contacts, or other unrelated Google services unless a future feature clearly requests that permission and you explicitly consent to it.

Technical information

Our service providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service, such as device or browser information, IP address, authentication logs and error information.

2. How we use information

We may use information to:

• create, authenticate and maintain user accounts;
• provide features of the Vegan Belgrade app;
• protect the service against abuse, fraud and unauthorized access;
• diagnose technical problems and improve reliability;
• respond to support, privacy or legal requests;
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Supabase

Vegan Belgrade uses Supabase for backend infrastructure and authentication. Information processed through Supabase may be stored or processed on infrastructure operated by Supabase and its service providers, subject to their applicable privacy and security terms.

4. Google user data

When Google sign-in is used, Google user data is accessed only to the extent necessary to authenticate you and provide your account. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except where necessary to provide the service, comply with law, protect users or the service, or with your explicit consent.

5. Restaurant and menu information

The app may display restaurant names, menu items, descriptions, prices, links and other publicly available or third-party restaurant information. This content is not personal information about app users. Restaurant information may change over time, and Vegan Belgrade does not guarantee that every listing, ingredient, price, opening hour or vegan designation is always current or complete.

6. Data retention

Account information may be retained for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward where necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution or legitimate operational needs. Authentication and security logs may be retained for a limited period according to the settings and policies of our service providers.

7. Data deletion

You may request deletion of your Vegan Belgrade account and associated personal information, subject to legal or security retention requirements. If account deletion is available directly inside the app, you may use that feature. Otherwise, use the contact method provided by Vegan Belgrade in the app or on this website.

8. Sharing of information

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the application, such as Supabase and authentication providers selected by the user. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security or integrity of users or the service.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. However, no online service, database or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Children

Vegan Belgrade is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age required to consent to online services under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, and to request a copy of information associated with you. These rights may be subject to applicable legal exceptions.
